Just Letting
Ripping off clients and refusing to account

I entered into a lease agreement that was due to expire at the end of March 2013. In Dec 2012, I called Just Letting notifying them of my intention to terminate the contract at the end of January and I was advised to e-mail a letter, which I did on the 1st of Jan this year. During a moving out inspection, I asked Marise, the lady who was conducting the inspection, how much from my deposit of R6 500-00 they would deduct, she advised she was not certain but it would be in the region of R900-00 since there was nothing to be fixed in the house and I would not be liable for the agent's comission for the months of Feb and March, since they have a new tenant.
To my utter shock an amount of R3 432-50 was deducted and labelled as cancellation fee. I called and spoke to Annatjie trying to address the matter and asked her to give me a break down of the costs and calculations, she rudely told me I wouldnt understand the calculation and that she has too much on her desk and that my matter would be dealt with when she gets to it, and blatantly said she would put it at the bottom of her pile of work.
To this day, fetting hold of her is like a witchhunt! This is a DISGRACE to rip off people!!
