MISCONDUCT & UNETHICAL REAL ESTATE PRACTICE

This agency has threatened in public, malicious damage to my property, damaging and removing the geyser, following a tenant he placed, a personal friend of Riaan Gouws, a partner in Buzz Property Brokers. With a binding rental agreement between myself and Jan Pieters effective December 2012, this tenant has failed, since taking occupation to make 1 full month's rental payment and has since not paid since August 2013. The Agent has been informed monthly where payments were not made and attempted to intervene without success. On 1 October 2013, I gave the tenant via email 90 days; the agent was included in the notice to the tenant and acknowledged receipt of the email. On my arrival at my premises on 17 January 2014, I was threatened by both the Owner of Buzz Properties, Riaan Gouws, and the tenant Jan Pieters CEO of D Lighting Electrical with malicious damage to my property should I try I try to take occupation. I am concerned that this agencies business practice does not comply with ethical business practice. Riaan Gouws was very unprofessional, intimidating and threatening to my person. This agency is established in the Newlands area & I believe individuals should be cautious
