Deductions From Rental Deposit

I was a tenant and was renting from 1 August 2013 to 31 July 2013. I gave notice (on 28 March 2013) of terminating the lease for the 31 May 2013 with more than 20 working days' notice. I was instructed by the Blue Property Group agent to hand in the keys to the guard house, which was on the 21 May 2013, as he will then prepare the unit for the new tenant. He also mentioned that I will get a refund if the new tenants occupy the unit before the 1 of June 2013. The new tenant resumed occupation before 1 June 2013. 28 Days later I received my deposit with UNREASONABLE deductions (carpet cleaning at R575- not stipulated in the lease agreement and it was noted to the agent within 7 days of entering the agreement that there were defects with the carpet, early termination penalty at R2462.40, electricity at 179.14) with NO supporting documents and NO Interest and NO refund. When addressing this to the agent of Blue Property Group, he simply told me to consult the landlord, who has tasked the agent to resolve this. Blue Property Group is not an honest property agency.
