I was desperate for rental in Pretoria. I looked at 7 or 8 different places. One place that replied was Krananburg Verhurings. Of all the places I looked at, this one was the only one demanding a application fee before hand.

As soon as I paid it, the advert for the apartment was back on junkmail. It took an entire week and a half to get a negative response from them because they were doing "background checks" which took everyone else a day or two to do.

In the end, it does`nt seem like they had any intention of accommodating us, yet they demanded a fee like most that ask you to pay upfront.

If you come across this agency, think twice.
