Paid for service that was not recieved

My enquiry doesn't involve a lot of money but it is a matter of principle in that I paid for a service that I did not receive.

I rented a holiday apartment over December 2103 via Tyson Property based at uShaka. I received excellent service from Beverley (the agent - 0763031184) who looked after all the arrangements for us.

However during our stay, there was no full boutique of DSTV as agreed to with Beverley and fully paid for by me as part of the rental price. I suggested that we consider a refund of half the DSTV rental (R350) and use this to pay the maid. This suggestion was not accepted. I then escalated to Marc who is the senior person at Tyson Property and received a negative response to even a possible refund after the amount to pay the maid was deducted from my deposit.

I believe that my request is reasonable as I paid for a service that I didn't receive and am thus entitled to my money back.
