NO DEPOSIT REFUND< NO RESPONSE

I advised the letting agent that I had to leave property due to unforeseen circumstances in July, was forced to pay for next 2 months rent, left keys in house as per Karens request, no contact at all or responses to numerous e-mails with regrads to deposit refund. Shall we go the legal route???
