Broken Promises

1st we get feedback that the place is for rent in August. We do all the necessary applications, and get told that we are fine and we have first option. Then we get told the tenant is off to China and can't be gotten hold of. Then we get told the rental wasn't for August, but September (we check the ad and it was for 1st August by the way).

Then finally we get told that the tenant won't vacate till his lease is finished. So after 3 weeks of being buggered about and putting our search on hold because we thought we had found something, we have to start again, a month in and 2 tanks of petrol wasted and numerous phone calls. Welcome to Cape Town.
