Unfair dealings with Infoprop agent

This company is threatening to send a garnishee against my salary because of the misunderstand that happened. I have applied for a R650K homeloan and the banks declined because of affordability. When discussing the deal I told Kyle verbally that he must not send the application to Nedbank and FNB because of a relationship with these two banks and that FNB has recently declined my application for a R450K flat in Midrand (This was in March this year and therefore it does not make sense to send an application for a higher amount). Seeing that the other banks are not approving he has then decided to approach FNB and Nebdank without my concern. I found out about this and tried to stop it and all he said was that I have signed the contract and if the application does not proceed he will send a garnishee against my salary. My problem is that he is referring me to a contract that I signed but I told him verbally not go to these banks and he has admitted that he knew of this in one of the mail trails. It was not explained to me that if I sign the contract then the agreement that we had will be overridden. I still have a copy of the mail where he noted that he is aware of the agreement.
