With ref to post on 07_02_ 2013 by WilliamDavey, I have also experienced the same treatment. I was emailed and called by Kahil Coetzee to arrange a pre-inspection at our Plaisance unit. We were phoned & asked for suitable date/time to do a "hand over" inspection in January 2012 to check for snags. We then moved in at the end of February (bond registration was on 28 February). We were then shocked when MSPD deducted occupational interest from the date of the handover/snag list inspection and deducted this from our reservation deposit. Not once did the MSPD agent Kahil mention to me when we did the inspection the implications involved. I could easily have set a later date but wanted to accommodate him as he was so keen to complete the inspection. The Sales agent no longer works for MSPD when trying to do enquiries and MSPD staff Zanne Reyneke (email on the 24 April 2012) merely pointed to me that he addressed it with the CEO and pointed me to the Agreement of Sale and said i have to pay the occupational interest. I would like to warn all unassuming customers to be careful of this company. I have since not been happy with my purchase and the overall service received.
