No explanation of why Proof of address is rejected

Like all Government offices, inflated ego's and complete lack of understanding of what it means to be a public servant runs rife in this department.
This 'Supervisor' Nomsa didn't even have the decency to tell me why a document accepted by a bank and other financial institutions as a valid proof of residence was rejected by her. An to top it off, cowardly sent the messenger to tell me she had left the building when i requested to speak with her.

I was in half a mind of shouting and screaming just to get her attention. This i can now attribute to the fact that i'd wasted 6 hours of my life at that department this week alone because the staff are only trained to tell you that you need one more document when you get to the from of the line at the counter.

When you ask for a list of all required documents, they look at you with blank expressions. Then have the audacity to have an attitude of superiority when they tell you to 'Just wait there".

When I asked to speak with the manager, surprise, surprise, he is not available.

Why do we have to put up with this disgusting service? this is a public service that is meant to make us tax paying citizens life easier.
