VERY POOR SERVICE

I went to the Vodacom Store in Lakeside Mall, Benoni on Wednesday 7th May 2025. I asked the gentleman working at the Tech Bar to transfer all my information from one to another. He told me it would take about an hour and cost R199.00. I went back to the shop 2 hours later and my phone was still not ready. He then told me to come back in another hour. I gave him another 2 hours. He then gave me both phones back and guaranteed me all the info was transferred. I could not check on my old phone as the battery was flat. I got home and charged the phone. In the meantime I discovered all the information was not transferred only parts were transferred. All my whatsapp messages were not there, all my photos were not there. All my email messages were not there. Only about 30 contacts appeared on the new phone. When I tried to switch on the old phone. A code was put on so I couldnt see if any information was still on. I cannot even switch the old phone off as it needs a code. I went to the shop this morning to see if this problem can be solved only to be told that the person is not in today. And the other 2 employees were really not interest in even trying to help. I was then told by the 1 lady that I would have to pay again. I don't think so. I am really very disappointed in the service and I will be reporting this incident on Hello Peter.
