Customer comes last

I went to Antalis this morning to collect my order. I had made prior arrangements to collect.
I was told the despatch opens at 7.30am. I arrived at 7.45.
The lady at reception said that the guys at despatch start despatching at 8.00am.
So i asked her, but dont they start work at 7.30am, to which she replied that they do, but they only begin despatch COD's after 8am.
So she says "No wait, they'll handle your order" So i waited, it was almost 8.00am when i left there as i needed to get to work as well and begin work at 8.00am.
Eunice made me wait, despite the fact that i had told her i have to deliver 2 other people to work.
She led me to believe that she was preparing my order and even asked me to wait in my car.
I then went to see the lady that handled my COD, she tried to help but to no avail.
I spoke to the despatch manager who then said they will not despatch anything before 8 even though they begin work at 7.30
What type of Customer Service is this anyway???
I work for a very reputable company where if a customer comes to collect COD, we willl make them comfy and get their order ready ASAP. For us customer is King!
