I booked for a pedicure-fish nibble treatment for my sister and I. We arrived for our appointment and were informed that there was no booking for us and made to feel unwelcome. A Groupon voucher was demanded which we did not have, having paid the owner for directly. We showed the e-mail printout recording payment and booking. We then directed to a bench to sit around while the staff kept looking at the printouts. It was very unpleasant.
We were eventually directed to the fish nibble and more clients arrived. It was obvious that the owner had double booked. The staff kept looking at us as if we had caused the problem. A blackberry was dumped in my lap with a text message stating that the staff must attend to the women that arrived after us who complained. I had to call the owner to leave voicemail which the staff overheard. We were then given the worst rushed pedicures.By this point we could not wait to leave.
The owner responded to our complaint by offering us a free pedicure but we will never go back. It was also indicated that we were the type that liked to complain. Specials provide for discounted prices but double booking and poor service should not part be part of the deal
