Don't buy a Kenwood Chef if you want attachments

Seriously - Kenwood are totally incompetent about ordering and delivering attachments. Been waiting for a Chef Major ice cream maker ordered through Tafelberg since December. Kenwood have no process to actually order one and guarantee delivery. Every month a "shipment" comes in, and somehow none reach Tafelberg and we never get the one we ordered.

I could have ordered one on Amazon and had it here by mid January - how can Kenwood take months longer and still have no idea when or whether they can actually get one.

My advice - don't get a Chef or Chef Major unless you are prepared to order and import your own parts and attachments from overseas. Kenwood here in SA are clueless.
