Bmw Auto Glen
Almost two months and still in limbo

Miscellaneous

On December 12, 2013 the expansion bottle above the radiator of my BMW X3 burst.
I took the car to BMW Auto Glen and I was told that the cause was the water pump and it had to be replaced. They did not have it in stock, so it would take two weeks to have it from the supplier.
The two weeks went and nothing happened, until the 13 of January 2014 when they installed the pump. However the car showed the same problem (over pressure that burst a new pipe) and they told me that they had to do more tests (At this point I seriously doubt the first diagnosis was correct).
It is February 5, 2014 and they are still making new tests because they have not found the root of the problem.
In fact I only receive now and then some SMS saying that they are still making tests.
It seems to me that almost a month of tests should be enough to find a fault!!!
I am sure that BMW has some expert in its books and if someone had taken the initiative to consult him, we would not be at this point.
I am really disappointed by what happened because I was not expecting something like this from a reputable brand as BMW.
It must be noted that during this period I had to hire a car at considerable expenses.
