Misdiagnoses and replaced wrong parts

I took my car (Dodge Caliber) to car service city for repairs as it a strange noise coming from the engine. After running diagnostics, the service provider informed me that the problem was due to the faulty water pump and that it needed to be replaced to which I agreed.

Later when I went to pick the car up, it still had the same problem and to salt to wound, my car stereo/radio was not working and when i informed the service provider I was told that the noise problem could be due to steering wheel pump and that the "dead" radio might be due to technicians leaving the lights on.

I took the car to Dodge dealership for further tests and was informed by Dodge that the noise problem was caused by a faulty alternator. I informed car service city about Dodge's findings and they also ran further tests and found that indeed the alternator was faulty. I asked them to either reimburse me the full amount as they had not fixed the problem or offered any service or that they fix the alternator at their cost, to which they refused. I basically paid for car service city to replace a part that was not causing the problem (good working part).
