I became a member of Bonita medical Aid in December 2013. On my form I mentioned that my wife is using Pritor and Lipogen for Cholesterol When I phoned their supplier I was told that only Pritor has been approved. Nobody notified me?? The reason suddenly that they need the blood test for Cholesterol I obtained the tests as well as a new prescription from my doctor and send it by e-mail on 14 January 2014.asking them to let me know if it is not sufficient. Nobody react. On 1 February I sent an e-mail again asking what is going on. I received no reaction.
When I phoned them today they told me that the blood test was rejected - 24 days since I send them the blood tests. This will now be the third month that I have to pay for the prescription myself It looks like if they are using any excuse not t supply the medicine until the three month waiting period expired
