My October/November statement came with a high amount because previous to that i had a water loss on the property. But i believe that amount i was charged in incorrect. On the statement they have passed a credit but just below the same statement they charged me another amount stating it as"adjustments". i put through an enquiry on the 18/11/2013 and as off today i have still not received any feedback as yet.i sent through numerous emails after that but still no response. The municipality's only interest is make money out the consumers and gives a if we are billed incorrectly. They should only employ people who take their job seriously and not someone who sleeps on the job. Clearly the staff don't know what about customer service means as a few times that i called in the agents were rude on the phone. They feel they are doing us a favour
in fact it is the other way around. Ethekweni is very quick in sending us urgent payment request and is also very quick when it comes to disconnecting the consumers service but they drag their heels when us as consumers make enquiries of our accounts. For government to render services this poor really makes us wonder where this country is heading to
