Charged Interest

In November 2012 I did not receive a statement from Foschini rather than not pay the account, I paid the amount as per the previous month. Unfortunately, I should have paid a little extra /- R100. When I received my december account I realised that i should have paid extra and paid the full amount due. I had been charged interest for the amount owing which I paid. In Januar y 2013 when I received my statement I noticed that I had been charged interest again. I paid the full amount owing. In February 203 I again was charged interest, I phoned up Foschini to ask why I was being charged interest on my account and I was told that the billing is from 12th to the 12th of each month therefore I have been charged interest. Didn't make sense to me. I have received my March bill and guess what I have been charged interest!!! My interest now racks up to /- R600 surely there is something wrong with this when for one month you pay a little less because you fail to receive a statement from Foschini. They do not send electronic statements. You only receive these statements on the 22nd of each month and my account is paid by the 25th of each month. Fed Up - Closing my account!!!
