Wrong brake-pads

Cars & Transport

In October 2012, i had my front brakes replaced and my disk schemed on my vehicle (opel astra twintop 2007) by Auto-Lube service garage. When i received my vehicle back there was a constant noise coming from the right front wheel when you drive slowly or when you pull away, but this noise would dissappear after about 30km/h. Twice thereafter, it was taken back with the reply that there is no problem and the slight sound is because the brake pads is new (which would fade away). Seven months later, the brake pad broke completely off (causing damage to the disc, which has to be schemed again). The owner of the workshop says that " he can repair it, but i will have to pay for the service again. It the manufacturer of the brake pads, fault for poor quality of their product."I explained with proof of the damages to the disk and pad that the wrong brake pads was fitted therefore the constant sound coming from the wheel and the reason for the brake pad braking, but he refuses to assist and take ownership for the damages occurred.
