Too idiotic to update delivery dates

I paid for a mouse from this shop. However, I got to the product through a link, and not through their home page.

I paid for it, and the documentation when I paid for it promised that if I ordered before 1pm, it would be dispatched to the couriers that day.

That was it. They took my money, but that evening my goods had still not been dispatched.

This morning, I looked at their homepage. There was a notice saying that they had all gone on holiday, and the order would only be processed on the 7th Jan!!!

How ridiculous is that?? Do these muppets not realize that many people visit their site from search engines, and do not arrive directly at the home page?? Could you not have the common decency to put in just a tiny bit of effort to modify the site to inform customers when they are PAYING for the goods that they will have to wait for delivery?

I WOULD NOT have bought this item from them if I knew that I had to wait until the 7th of January for them to dispatch it!!

Fortunately, there are many online retailers in South Africa now, which means that people do not have to put up with this kind of blatant incompetence. DON'T SHOP HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!
