I recently called out a plumber from [URL Removed]
I asked for the plumber to come out and was told that because it was after hours I would be charged a call out fee if I did not wish to proceed with their service. (the call out fee of /- R300 would be wavered if I did proceed). I was 1st told there was a problem with my relief valve, it was R2508.00 to replace it. I said go ahead. They then sent me an sms with bank details and as a good customer I paid immediately (BIG MISTAKE). I was then told that the problem was that I didn't have a Non Return valve, I mentioned I had already paid and they said it's fine because they cost the same. They said they would return the next day because they didn't have the right part with them. When I realised I do not need Non Return valves I tried to cancel the deal and get my money back (keeping in mind NO service has been performed at this stage). I was then told by Gary that the minimum he would charge me was R1500 for fulfilling NO SERVICE, which also goes against what I was told on the phone that if the deal was not accepted I would be charged a call out fee of R300. I have still not received any money. They have R2200
