Had geyser problems, required Kwikot to replace according to warranty (Ref 162134). On arrival to fix, workers did not have the correct "basic" equipment to replace geyser-a hose to drain the geyser. Problem 1: We expressed our displeasure telephonically to Jan Joubert (as workers would have to come another day). He was rude, confrontational and tried to blame us for not specifying that a hose was required (i.e. lay person must tell the expert what equipment to bring). 2: he said workers will come the next day early 09h00. We re-arranged our entire schedule and waited following day. No phone call from workers or Jan Joubert until eventually at 16h00 to say they were now ready to replace. 3: Workers damaged the wall trying to install geyser (huge hole in wall). They admit guilt and assured me problem will be sorted. 4: I phoned next day to enquire when wall would be fixed. Joubert said Kwikot is not responsible for the damages to wall as it was faulty to start with. Absolutely Unacceptable! 1. Blame the client for their mistakes and errors 2. Empty commitments 3. Not taking responsibility for the damage caused by them - they broke the wall. SHOCKING!
