In 2012 i had a geyser burst, the insurance replaced the geyser and the entire ceiling of the house. I never had any problems of leaks when it rained. Few months later, when the rain started getting heavier, i noticed that the ceiling is constantly wet until it finally made a hole and spoiling the ceiling causing the bathroom to flood. I called Hollard on the 29th November 2013 explaining the situation and they sent out an contractor or assessor that said its "wear and tear"
The problem i have, is that i never had the problem before the geyser burst and the problem is in the bathroom right where the geyser is.
I left it for a while until i called again on 22 January 2014, they told me they cant replace the ceiling nor fix the roof because of wear and tear. I refuse to accept that cause, I NEVER HAD THE PROBLEM BEFORE THEY REPLACED MY GEYSER!!! Now every time it rains i have to put buckets in the bathroom cause it floods and the water goes under the tiles causing it to loosen. My ceiling is spoiled and they're telling me i have to fix it out of my pocket and i refuse cause its their contractors that caused me this grief.
