I own 2 GHDs. Both of these have broken. I own a GHD that has stopped working in under 2 years of purchase. Although the product is under warranty I am now expected to provide proof of purchase of the product because the hairdresser I bought it from purchase the machine more than 2 years ago. I have made a lot of calls and sent mails and FB messages today to get any kind of response or action. For a global brand with such huge followings and celebrity names and such public media exposure I have been shocked by the bad attitude of staff members today and the careless way they treat customers and their arrogant and callous attitude. I am now going to trash this product to all of FB and the public and advise people that this brand is not unreliable as a product but they don't commit to their promises or stand by their warranties
