No more Whirlpool products for me

I am very disappointed with the Whirlpool 6th Sense Washing Machine Machine that I purchased. I have had nothing but problems (initial reference number: S00139543) with this product since I purchased it with it eventually being exchanged in March 2011. And now last week the drum stopped turning and I have now been told that the bearings have gone and that to fix it will probably cost in the region of R3000 - R4000, as the parts themselves are approximately R2500. Needless to say I will not be fixing it and will be looking at purchasing another brand as this is honestly the last whirlpool product that I ever want to have in my house.

I am not sure if I have just been "jinxed" with this product or if this is the standard that is normally expected when you purchase a Whirlpool Product.

I would appreciate feedback on this.
