My DeLonghi Cappucino machine just gave problems again. It is my second unit as the previous one had to be replaced as the unit did not heat up. This new one has a faulty 'Cleaning' button - so the foam is no good. We live 2 hours from Somerset West. It is a time-inefficient and an expensive journey just to keep going back to replace or service the unit. In fact, since it is within the warranty period, a service or repair is not an option. A quality product should not require ANY service or repair within months of use. The fact that our replacement unit developed a whole new problem is just proof that this brand is unreliable. Added to that is the fact that you have to jump through hoops to get Dions to actually do anything - this process is not worth the stress. MY ADVICE: DO NOT BUY A DELONGHI PRODUCT. Especially from Dion. You will regret the purchase, be forced to accept empty promises, come dangerously close to an aneurism while trying to reason with the staff and get while paying thousands for it. I will try Jura, or Spada or anything else I can. Maybe they will respect my time and money a little more.
