ACCOUNTS PAID UP BUT STILL RECEIVING CALLS!!!

i had a Woolworths Instore account of which I have paid in full with a full and Final Settlement letter from another Attorney.

I have told Woolworths and MBD Attorneys a millions time and faxed and emailed a millions time a copy of the settlement letter and they are still phoning me with the same query and every time the outstanding figure changes. When they call they ask me the same question over and over which just gets my blood pressure up and makes me sick to my stomach, and when I explain for the millionth time that this account is paid up since 2002, I get attitude. I get rude and obnoxious people phoning me threatening me and phoning my daughter and telling her she is lying that she is me.

I am now also getting calls about a Milady's account that I had 10 years ago and closed about 9 years ago and now I must prove that I do not have this account any more. I know for a fact that I only have to keep thing for 5 years as proof of an account that has been paid up so why must I have to put myself out to prove them wrong.

I think these people look up old accounts and just assume that we will not remember and pay over loads of money to MBD
