I have an account with Woolworths that was handed over to MBD Credit solutions. I received a letter from MBD Credit solutions with an outstanding amount which I paid in full. I then received a sms from them to inform me that I did not pay my account as promised. I phoned them to give them the detail of my payment upon which I was told that I still have an outstanding amount due as it was only the arrears amount that I paid. This is already not correct because it was arrears plus interest and cost. I told them that I understand that there could be more cost involved and that I want them to send me a settlement figure in writing. I was told this would be send to me in a day or two. This did not happen. Now they are harassing me on the phone and it seems the amount outstanding is growing by the day while I am waiting for them to give me a settlement figure. If they do not have competent staff to assist with something as simple as a settlement figure they should not be phoning people to harass them.
