Africa Advertising misinform

I was led to believe, like many other people out there, that Africa Advertising was updating my ad in the Telkom yellow pages. I even spoke to someone on the phone to ensure that this was the case. After signing the so-called contract for R4 400 I realised that this was not the case. I requested a written transcript of my telephonic conversation and in response received a threatening letter, followed by a call from their attorney who threatened to "see you in court". I sought legal advice and was told that according to Section 16 of the CPA I can cancel the contract even after the specified 5 days if I was misinformed. I was also advised to send a fax and a registered letter to this effect.
