Unacceptable traffic noise

I checked into my room and found that the traffic noise from the adjoining freeway was unacceptably high. I immediately went in person to reception to ask for another room. They said they were fully booked. I asked to be transferred to another Protea hotel, they told me I would forfeit my full payment already made through a travel agent. The staff were totally unconcerned. Neither I nor any staff from my organisation will ever stay in this hotel again.
