Excesive skin from extreme weightloss

I have lost over 80 kg by means of exercise and diet in the last year... I now suffer from excess skin and is getting skin infections... I went to a top Plastic surgeon who advised me to get surgery done asap as this will lead to even more complications... I contacted discovery and they said I need to submit a motivation letter to them and they will let me know after 5 to 7 working days... I phoned them this morning after waiting over 3 weeks for them and they simply declined it without giving me any reason on why it was declined. I am very unhappy with Discovery Health as the surgery is really needed... I will not let this go and if they can not provide me with reasonable explanations on why it was declined I will lay a complaint by the health council of South Africa.
