Happy Holiday Homes..."Not so happy"

We all know times are tough but we saved up for a year to take our kids to Shelly Beach (We have been going there forever) We approached Happy Holiday Homes in Shelly Beach via email and reserved what looked like a lovely unit - Bondi 49. We had to pay the full fee upfront before arrival and I can now see why!!

Structurally the unit was fine, situated on the ground floor with easy access to the beach, but on closer inspection we found the gas braai totally wrecked (Fixed after 5 days) The cooking pots were ancient aluminium pots that had been burnt wth some missing handles - I would not have given them to guys on the side of the road. The frying pan was once upon a time a cheap non-stick but obviously functional item. Now however it is a dented, burnt, scraped piece of junk. The 3 Couches in the living area had been covered by old beadspreads to try and conceal the aged and tatty upholstery. The shelf in the en suite bathroom was compleatly rotten and stank up the place. The linen was threadbare with pillows that could be passed as pancakes. The shower door almost killed my wife but very successfully entrapped my daughter. Most of the ceiling fans were missing ther cords - BAD!!
