Over a year and account still not settled!!

In Aug 2011 I had a stem cell transplant, authorised by Bonitas. Stem cell transplants have unlimited benefits and authorisations were obtained. Where there was some special needs, letters of motivation were submitted by the doctors prior to treatment, of which I have copies. It is now well over a year, and although the medical aid paid most accounts, R39, 029.66 is still outstanding for medication supplied by Pretoria East Hospital. Both the hospital and myself have tried to have this account paid, or reasons for non payment to be supplied, both to no avail. The hospital is witholding summonsing me for the amount until I try Hello Peter as an option as I have had previously had positive results through this medium of complaint.

I have an extensive list of query numbers and dates of telephone and email correspondence, but Bonitas does not pay or respond.

Hello Peter is my final attemp at getting payment or answers before I take the matter up with the Council for Medical Schemes. One of the many query numbers is 130812QDDNTX.
