Hi all we have read all the complaints on deltash caterers and unfortunately we found ourselves in the same position. we booked sagree for my wedding which was suppose to take place in december this year. when we met the lady sagree she was posing to be a nice friendly lady only later did we realise it was all an act. we paid her r6000 as a deposit after she worried us claiming that the quote she gave us was a 1 day special, it so happend that a few days after the payment we had a tragedy in our family and we are unsure of the status of the wedding. we contacted her and explained our problem to her and she told us she would see what she could do after that day she has been ignoring our calls and we even went to her house and she refused to come outside to meet us and now she says too many days have passed and she cannot refund us. i also am under the impression that according to the consumer protection act a service provider is allowed to charge you a REASONABLE penalty upon cancellation and since its 10 months in advance i think r6000 is definitely unreasonable. can anyone please help us and give us some advice, my family and i are really stressed out.
