Claims payment for Cash patient

I am a Discovery medical aid member and recently visited the N17 (on 04/02/2013) Doctor as was in pain and only to find I had to pay cash and claim from my medical aid, which I agreed to cause I was needing urgent medical assistance. This is done cause Discovery has discontinued agreement with the clinic for daily consultation somehow last year already. Submitted my claims document on the 07/02/2013 and consultants told me 2-3 working my claim will be finalised but 6 working days later I'm told sorry backlog and it will be now 14 days in the next week when they decide to pay my claim and (10 working days). This is just a whole lot of hogwash and sorries that don't help my situation because I need my money. Basically they telling me wait in the que till whatever time and the system to update which they say cannot be expedited which is wrong.
