ONE WEEK LATER, NO AUTHORISATION

My wife needs to undergo urgent spinal surgery, has suffered pain for three years hoping that surgery would not be necessary. A very respected and well known neurosurgeon has recommended that a laminectomy and fusion, lumbar area, now be performed. The operation is supposed to be performed on 2013/02/26 but will not be done without authorization. There will be a shortfall of R2014, 64 for the implant hardware and I have made it clear that I will pay this. Despite assurances received today, 2013/02/20, still no authorization. Must I now euthenase my wife to stop the pain?
