Poor service received at City Lodge in SANDTON!!!

Incident occurred on 14/02/2013. Upon checking into our hotel rooms, my colleague and I were quite surprised to find that there was no toilet paper in my room, and her toilet hadn't even been cleaned since the last person vacated (Skid marks in toilet). I raised the issue for both rooms with reception and then we went out for supper. On our return (3 hrs later) we inquired at reception if everything had been taken care off... only to find out nothing had been done yet. The manager then offered to allocate us two new rooms. One of the two rooms was fine, but the one allocated to me had a bed that had clearly not been made and towels scattered all over the bath tub. I called reception again and was addressed by an extremely rude receptionist. The manager then came downstairs with 3 alternate keys in her hand (shows the level of confidence she had for her own hotel in my opinion) and allocated me with another room. As an employee of a company that frequently uses this chain, this is hardly the service that I expect from a City Lodge, which used to be synonymous with Quality... seems like they really are living up to their new name in the public eye...
