Pay R1890.00 for stiches in a rabbits ea

I took my rabbit in to the vet one evening as he had had a fight with the other rabbit I have. His ear was torn and I thought it needed stiches. I knew I would pay a fee for after hours, which was 250 rand over and above the normal consultation fee. When I collected my rabbit the next day I was sent home with no anti-biotics, no pain medication and no care sheet. I was told to bring the rabbit back in ten to fourteen days. I took him in on day ten only to be told it was too long to have waited and only 2 of the stiches had taken. So my rabbit still has one ear split in half!! the next day I took my other rabbit in for a castration, a major operation for a rabbit, the bill was only in the 800 rand range, I paid it in full, but again, NO anti biotics, NO pain meds and NO care sheet. I called the vat to say I was unhappy with the first ear operation and they asked me to bring him in to check him, and then we would discuss the R1000 which I owed them. I said I would bring him in but in the meantime was sent to Botswana for work. I have just been informed by a friend of mine who got an sms from the vet to say they are handing the bill over to the lawyers. MOST UNHAPPY
