Medicross
They wouldn't help my 1 year old

I was called by the school on Friday that my son was experiencing shortness of breath and had a high fever. I took him to Medicross as it was about 5 minutes from the school. when I got there I took him to the nurses station to atleast try and bring his temp down. they wouldn't help him coz they don't take momentum any longer as it refuses to pay their crazy rates. R320 just fot the consultation. they then said i have to pay cash before my child could even be looked at. How insensitive. I have been a client of medicross for a long time. cahs and medical aid. I think they should have assisted me and let me settle the account once the Dr had seen my son. I mean they couldn't even administer a teaspoon of panado to help my child. they could have taken what momentum pays them and asked for a shortfall. there's a lot of options they could have taken but they chose to not touch my son instead. I will never set foot in that place anylonger.
