I have had endless problems with momentum. No one knows anything when I call. I called the beginning of the year to enquire if I could still go to medicross, they said yes, then no, then yes... My GP knows more about this medical aid than the consultants do. I have medical bills pending. I have to do all the enquiring prior to me calling them. They have no data to refer to, have no product knowledge. I cannot get any assistance. I have logged a complaint to them directly and rather recieved a form to complete and return to them.
In july my son went to see an optometrist listed on the momentum network - I ended up paying the difference because momentum told the optom we have a "medi cross" plan, today I learnt they did away with medicross 1/1/2013, yet medi cross advised that they still accept momentum access.?? They paid some of my medi cross bills this year, I'm confused. The attitude of the staff really is disgusting, they get annoyed when asked questions have don't have the answers to.
