Put through hoops by poor communation and service

7/8 Jan I contact Discovery to request cancellation of my plan as I am overseas and will be until at least late 2015. Told it can be reduced to lowest amount 490-00. Amount reduced to R1416. 9/01 send an email explaining this doesnt help me, so send docs incl work permit, passport stamps, air tickets. Receive request for completion application form, not requested before. 15/09 respond with application for lowest plan, bank statements for 3 months. 16/09 receive email confirming receivd applic for 490 plan, docs, but now need an affidavit with details, not requested before then. Next day 17/01 email admin services confirming plan change made effective 1/02 so I assume ok. On 4/02 contact again, angry debited my acc for R1416. Told by same person of 16/09 that not received affidavit so plan not reduced! Not been advised if I will be refunded if I comply, or why they ignored the confirmation by them of plan change in their most recent communication. Where is internal comms to know what the other is saying? I am 1 month down the line with the same problem? People have treated me duplicitously and their system is ineffective. I wont mention names as the whole system is at fault
