I went for a semen analysis to Flora Clinic on the 16 January 2014. The results take a week to be released. I get a call a week later, Friday 24 January 2014 only to be told that the samples were not couriered to Pretoria. The lady explained that it was Lancet's fault and that I can reschedule an appointment for another time. My wife called this morning only to be told that there is no appointment available on Thursday, 06 February 2014. This is a serious matter and Lancet does not seem to be treating it as such. The lady was uninterested and said that there was nothing that she could do. I cannot get time off work at Lancet's convenience for something that is not my fault. I pay money to receive service and I cannot get time off work easily to keep going on Lancet's time. I suggest that Lancet tries to accommodate me for this week Thursday, 06 February 2014 or else after hours at my convenience. If I do not get a response, I will ensure that the public are made aware of the incompetence of health professionals that supposed to be entrusted with blood and other testing which has a direct impact on the health status of an individual.
