I feel like I am being robbed

I wish to downgrade my medical aid as I can no longer afford the high fees I am being charged. I phoned Discovery last week to enquire about when the changed debit would come into effect. I was told I am billed in arrears on the first of the following month. If would like to add that I know that if the billing day falls on a weekend, the amount is deducted on the Monday. I phoned today 3 February, the FIRST WORKING DAY OF THE MONTH, to request that my scheme be downgraded. I have not claimed anything over the weekend. Apparently, even though I am billed in arrears I will still be charged at the higher rate for the month of February. This is absolutely appalling and I will be moving to a different service provider. I have given a month's notice. One wonders what actually qualifies as a month???
