I had my baby on the 1st november 2012. I received a bill from the anesthesist to forward to medical aid I first sent it in December along with my gynae's bill, when I phoned to follow up on payment I was told they had not received the bill but the bill for the gynae's was received, I don't understand how that's possible when both those bills were sent thru via email on the same day, same email, I had to keep phoning and checking on payment and every time I was told they still hadn't received it but I kept sending it, I was then handed over to lawyers for that bill not been paid I eventually spoke to a supervisor who told me to send her the bill and she will sort it out as I said I will not be paying for the lawyers fees as that was medical aid problem for not paying on time. I received a message this Monday from the lawyers stating that a summons will be issued for the account, I then forwarded that message to the supervisor and told her to get her manager to call me, her manager called but ended up covering for her supervisors poor work performance as she only did background on the account on Monday after I sent that message. I will be canceling my medical aid with this company!
