Dear Discovery Health

It has recently been brought to my attention by my former husband who lives in another country that you intend to insure my daughter on your medical aid under another family. Since when is it the policy of Discovery to insure children not biologically related to the owner of the medical aid insurance on that insurance?

My former husband is requesting that I remove my daughter from her current medical aid so that you can insure her from the coming month! I believe that you are being misled by both the medical aid policy holder and the broker attempting to do this!

My former husband is not a South African citizen but it is possible for him to have this insurance in his own name if he refuses to have medical aid in my name with my daughter on the policy as mandated by the court here in South Africa.

If You intend to pursue this matter I will have to ask why it is that some people are certainly being treated as more equal than others and would like to point out that this is unfair to your other clients.

It is my contention that this is an abuse of the medial aid scheme by both the client in question and the broker trying to swindle this deal.
