Complete package a disaste

Im trying to join Discovery before the so-called 3 month period without medical aid goes by, but what a struggle to join discovery! Broker's office assistant never submitted application on time, took 6 days to submit to discovery, then realized they didn't check the paperwork properly, then I hold on 25mins for discovery to solve a previous issue, I eventually drop the call and my husband manages to get a hold of them and sort out the issue. then we get feedback that we will have a waiting period of 3 months because we will join 1 day after the 3 months have passed of us not having medical cover. SERIOUSLY? 1 day? Then please advise if I can join on the 31st of march, coz then its 1 day BEFORE the 3 month period has passed. Then the broker tells me to play open cards with her and tell her why I want medical aid so urgently, uhm, isn't it obviously if you have kids and you've been without it for almost 3 months that one gets a bit desperate. Anyway, I don't really think discovery cares, since the broker just said OK when my husband told her he thinks we should rather leave it.
