Unfair to pay interest for discovery's fault

In January 2013 I obtained hospital authorisation for my wife to be booked in the hospital, during her stay, she was seen by various medical practitioners and discovery elected to pay their claims from my MSA untill I raised it and they promised to reverse all the payments from my MSA.Few months later I received outstanding invoice from one of the practitioners that we owe them R793.20 plus interest of R251.21, this was later follwed by summons from the practitioners lawyers, I kept of referring the practitioner to discovery. On 20/1/2014 I lodged a query with discovery and it was resolved that the amount due the practitioner will be paid. On the 23/1/2014 I called again to follow up if the interest to the practitioner will be paid as well and I was told NO.Discovery confirmed receipt of the practitioners claims in January 2013 and elcted to pay from my MSA which at the time was depleted thanks to their error, I also picked up during the same call that another claim of R410 was still not reversed from my MSA since Jan 2013.All I am asking for is accountability and pay the interest to the practitioner since it was clearly discovery's fault.
