Problem with Auth and Claim Payments

Our new born son had to be re-admitted to hospital one day after being initially released due to a bad case of jaundice, when we got to the hospital they had to just phone to get authorisation from discovery, we were told to go through and that all is sorted with the medical aid regarding the authorisation.

Now a month and a half later, we have been contacted by the Hospital saying that Discovery have now declined the claims... the hospital took it upon themselves to try and get in touch with discovery and establish why the claims are being declined, nobody seems to want to answer them... they even escalated the matter to a manager, who still just refuses to give feedback. I want answers and I want it now.
