Hospital bill not been paid in full

My son was admitted at. Netcare garden city addmission number C141002621422001 and his medical bills for the hospital and ampath wasn't paid in full and now I have been sent to credit collectors. I made a query and filled the ex gratia form but till today I haven't got any feedback from GEMS, called and sent all the relevant documents and invoices.
